The last election in Pennsylvania was a primary election scheduled for May 17, 2022. In Pennsylvania, U. S. Citizens who will be 18 or older on election day may vote in the election held that day.

To vote in the upcoming election, you must register by May 2, 2022.

Mail-In Ballots
The deadline to request mail-in ballots is approaching. Requests for mail-in or absentee ballots must be received by your county election office by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
You can register for mail-in (or absentee) ballots online.

Mail-in ballots must be received by your county election office by 8:00 pm on May 17, 2022. Postmarks are not enough!
If you still physically have your mail-in ballot, do not depend on the U.S. Postal Service to deliver it on time. Plan to deliver it yourself in person as soon as you can.
Be sure to read and carefully follow the instructions that come with your mail-in ballot, so that it's not rejected on a technicality. Be sure to use both the inner secrecy envelope and the outer mailing envelope and to sign the Voter’s Declaration on the outer envelope.

Finding a Drop Box for Your Mail-In Ballot
You may deposit your ballot securely in any of the drop boxes in Delaware County. The drop boxes are open 24/7 until the deadline: 8:00 PM on May 17.
